David died peacefully at his beach home after a perfect oceanside day. Loved husband of Rata, father of Paul, Jackie & Gore, Suzie & Simon, Mandy, and Jeremy. Adored grandfather of Rory, Sophia, Huw, Struan and Maree. Great grandfather to Stella, Harvey, Spencer and Archer.
Dr Taylor was instrumental in providing culturally sensitive post-mortem services to iwi in the region and working with Kirihaehae, the National Advisory Group on Autopsy, to improve services for whanau from a Maori perspective
A Service will be held at St Luke’s Anglican Church, Amohia Street, Rotorua on Saturday, 5 August 2023 at 11.30am, followed by burial at Kauae Cemetery, Ngongotaha.
