After a lifetime of service to her whānau, hapū and iwi, the whānau Timihou-Te Kowhai wish to let our iwi and community know that our taonga, our kuia, our mareikura, Maxine Waiti Te Kowhai Rennie QSM has passed away peacefully this morning in her home in Ohinemutu.
Beloved mum of Rukingi, Muggy (Mary) and John.
Loved sister, Aunty and cousin, treasured Nanny Max to her many mokopuna.
We take comfort knowing that she is reunited with her whānau and loved ones who have been waiting for her, in the arms of her Lord.
